Erasmus+

Erasmus + is the EU program for education, training, youth and sport. Its € 14.7 million budget will give more than 4 million Europeans opportunities to study, train, gain experience and volunteer abroad.

The Erasmus + program, which runs until 2020, not only offers students opportunities. As a result of the merger of seven previous programs, this program widens the opportunities for a wide range of people and organizations.

The Erasmus + program aims to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, employment and social equity and inclusion, as well as the EU strategic framework for education and training.

It also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in higher education and to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.

The program addresses in particular the following issues: reducing unemployment, especially among young people; promotion of adult education, especially with regard to the acquisition of new skills and competences required by the labor market; promoting the participation of young people in European democracy; support for innovation , cooperation and reform; reduction of drop out; promoting mobility and cooperation with EU partner countries.
